Fun with Sam and Jake...and Jared

Matt and Amie had a date night so I was more then happy to watch the boys so they could have some alone time. Jake decided that my couch was a trampoline and in no time Sam joined in the fun. Sam is such a little dare devil, I was sure he would take a header off the couch.....He didn't! I took about 20 pictures of them just being silly. Here are a few of them. Enjoy!

Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger?

I got this in an E-mail from my very cute little G-pa today and I figured that I would post it seeing how our 10th anniversary is in 3 days. I love you G-pa. Give G-ma a kiss from us.

The Thumb represents your Parents.
The Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings.
The Middle finger represents your-Self .
The Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner.
The Last (Little) finger represents your children.

First, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back.

Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip (As shown in the figure below):


Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)... they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later.

Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)... they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)... they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.

Finally join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse).

You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT...because Husband & Wife are to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!!!

We now have seen Bambi.

One of the little moron children that lives in the apartment complex found this baby deer in the bushes and thought that it would be a good idea to pick it up and try to bring it home. His mother all but ripped his head off for picking it up. I went over to the table where it was and snapped a few pictures. Yes, it is still alive! I kept an eye on it and told the other kids to leave it alone. I checked on it again a few hours later and it was gone. I hope Bambi is OK.
