Our week with G-ma Loretta and Great Aunt Jane

OK, I tried as best I could to get these in order. Don't mind any of the dates on the pictures!!
Here are the roses that Jared, Gabe and I got for mom and Aunt Jane. You can't see, but they have stripes on them.
We got them some balloons too.
On our first day out Darrin and I took mom and Jane to Hauser dam.
The lake above the dam was covered with fog but it burned off right in front of our eyes. It was soooo pretty.
It's the cliffs of insanity! well almost.

Mom, Jane and Darrin coming down the path.
Kodak moment.
I love the self timer.

Just a sign on the dam.
Coming back from the dam...This is Hauser lake.
We also took them up to park lake. Mom asked me to to stop so she could take a picture of this tree. I'm glad I took one as well seeing how I accidentally erased her memory card!...Sorry mom.
Park lake. So pretty.
Mom had the great idea to give Darrin an early birthday party as well as Thanksgiving dinner because she wouldn't be here. I made a full Dinner, Turkey, stuffing and all. I also made Darrin's cake. It was fun.
We went back up to park lake so mom could get more pictures. This day was much colder then the first day we came up. We had the boys this time.
Jared, Gabe and mom....on a rock.
Us.....on same rock!
Darrin and his mom....in front of said rock.
More lake.....with trees.

Mom taking a picture.
Mom asked me if the missionary's could give them a blessing before they left so they would have a safe trip. I don't know why I can't sit through a blessing without crying. When they were done, Jared asked if he could have one too. So cute.
Mom and Jared hanging out before the goodbyes.

Gabe was on a scout camp trip, that's why he's not in the picture.
I came out onto the porch and took this picture.

While I was taking this picture, Jared came out on the porch. I turned around to look at him and he had tears running down his face. I told him that they would make it home safely and he hugged me and said.." But I already miss them".
Mom and Jane, We are so happy that you came to visit. We had such a good time. Thank you for all the laughs and silliness. We sure do love you. Come again real soon...and bring the rest of the clan.

look at that Laura it is a sign from God that the blessings are there ready for your family as you come back and prepare your family to go through the temple. So that you can be an eternal family and not just for while you are here on this earth. I am glad you guys had such a great time. It was wonderful to see you. You do look great by the way!
