On this day in History.....

Matthew Ernest Post was born.

He has survived 7 older siblings, High school, Boot camp, A 2 year Mission in New York when 9/11 happened and separation from his wife and two boys while spending a year in Iraq! Matty, We love you and are so grateful that you are home safe and sound where you belong.

We were invited to celebrate Matty's birthday with him and his family. Amie made an awesome dinner. The very well known Sunday dinner of a good roast with carrots and potatoes, Mashed potatoes with gravy and corn on the cob. It was SOOOOO good. Matty's cake was German chocolate with that yummy coconut pecan frosting. YUM! We had a good evening with the post family even though Darrin was at work.

Sammy snagged an ear of corn before Amie could get it in the steamer.
