Parents Confess To Murder Of Newborn 6 Years Ago
1-Day-Old Baby Found In Quarry In 1999
LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio -- Police now have two suspects in the murder of a newborn baby that took place six years ago.
The baby called "Baby Boy Hope" now has a name – Steven.
The baby's mother, 22-year-old Jessica Coleman, and the man believed to be the father, 25-year-old Thomas Truelson, confessed to killing the baby.
The baby was just 1 day old when he was killed in February 1999.
The baby was found in a duffel bag in 17 feet of water in a Lorain County quarry. The baby had been beaten and stabbed.
A tip led investigators to the baby's parents. Both suspects are cooperating fully with the investigation.
Detective Carl Yost, of the Lorain County Sheriff's Department, says the arrests and finding out the child's name gives a sense of closure to a case he's been investigating for six years.
Both suspects posted bond and will be arraigned next week.
When I saw this on the news tonight I cried my eyes out. With so many people in this world that will do anything to have a child, Why are there so many people that will do anything to get rid of one, It breaks my heart and makes me sick! I really do hope that those two burn! (and everyone else that has killed a child....just because...)

Maybe a better reaction would be to wonder why a 15 year old girl would feel the need to do this? These were kids having a child and must have felt no support from their family, friends or community. Maybe burning in hell is a bit strong, don't you think?

I think i smell fire? when i read that story i couldn't even imagine what i would do to someone if i knew they did something like that. i think that is where my desire to be a cop comes from, protecting children from physcos and abusers. I SAY KILL THEM ALL....ABUSERS THAT IS!

What I mean to say was that your desire to protect children rocks. As for anyone that hurts or kills a child....They WILL get what is coming to them.
Just so you all know...the man involved did not kill the baby. That cruel act was done by the mother secretly. I think that you are too quick to judge these kids without knowing them or their situations. It is sad that someone could do this to their child. It came as a huge shock to find out who the parents were...These kids had lots of friends, and good families. I believe there is more to this story than what we know.
Ok, Just to clear the air....The post above was taken right from the local news web site, It is not something I wrote, I truly believe that ANYONE that hurts a baby/child should endure the same fate, I really don't care who did the actual killing, The fact is, Is that they were both involved. If the mother beat the infant, Then beat her the same way and if the father put the infant in the duffel bag and through it in the water, then do the same to him! I come from a very big family and I was very afraid to tell my mom that I was pregnant at 17, I didn't feel like I had a lot of support and do you know what I did....Well I didn't kill it, I blessed another family with a child that they had tried for for so many years with no luck. I can't even imagin what infertil couples go through when they see what horrible lengths people will go to to not have a baby. I think it's total BULLS**T and anyone that has done something like that should be prevented from having children....whenever they are ready! As my sister says to some of my views....Maybe I am an unforgiving wench...oh well, if you don't like what I have to say/type...don't read it!
